Reimagining one of the world’s biggest telecoms portals
Tata Communications is a giant in the telecommunications space, with a network of more than 500,000 km of subsea fibre, and more than 210,000 km of terrestrial fibre spanning the globe. But its old website – steeped in jargon and difficult to navigate – was in need of an overhaul. And, with the company’s annual expo only six weeks away, the clock was ticking.
To breathe new life into Tata’s online presence, we worked to clarify the information on offer and make it easier for people to find what they need. We then designed and built a flexible, dynamic platform around these core offerings – one that could grow as needed, that looked as good on mobile as it did on desktop, and could track, manage and convert leads as smoothly as possible. All of which was achieved in just six short weeks thanks to experience, efficient workflows, and dedicated resources.
Alongside an overall increase in session durations, realigning the site to target potential customers led to an increase of more than 160% in conversion rates during the new site’s first two weeks – transforming the website into an essential sales tool.
